Happy New Year, but… since this COVID thing just won’t completely go away, the return of the “Addy Gala” is still on hold.  Not forgotten, just waiting for an obvious good time to invite people to hang out, have a good time and recognize great ad work without wondering if you need to wear a mask to while chatting up friends, co-workers and piers.  So hold tight a little longer and then we’ll make up for lost time together when we see an “all clear” in 2022.

When we do get back to the “Gala”, we will celebrate both ’20, ’21 and 2022 American Advertising Award winners together. Until then, stay safe and keep making  that GREAT ADVERTISING and those messages that move us to purchase, attend and champion the businesses that serve our everyday lives.

Now, get your best work together and load it up for the local, regional and national recognition you deserve!.

Thanks also goes to 3 Waves Media for website design, coding and serving our AMERICAN ADVERTISING AWARDS site that chronicles this rich history.

2019 American Advertising Award Acknowledgements

2019 AMERICAN ADVERTISING AWARD (“Addy”) winners were notified of their winning entries in person.

Remember when you could go and see people?  Ah, memories.  We also delivered the 2020 awards to most of our local winners but there were limited pictures as some shops have skeleton staffs in the office.  Still lots of creatives are working from home.  We’ll get pictures in 2021 as folks start filling the offices again around Hampton Roads.  Until then, check out some of pics of the ’19 winners with a bunch of the crew in each agency, production house, Marcomm Dept or media company that won.  CLICK on the photo to arrow through some of the winners.
