As in 2020 because of the need for “social distancing” there will be no “Addy Gala” in early 2021. We will celebrate both 2020 and 2021 American Advertising Award winners along with two (2x) Silver Medal Awardees in early Fall of 2021 at a to be decided date if the CDC and other medical experts deem it safe to once again congregate. We expect a gathering of the Virginia ad community in person to again be a safe activity by Q4-2021.
Until then, stay safe and keep making GREAT ADVERTISING that serves the residents and businesses in the U.S.
Life goes on and the need has never been higher for people to know the “whats/whens/wheres/& whys” in brand and benefits to build trust and relationships between businesses and customers. Advertising’s job is important for our country and that makes what you do an ESSENTIAL need to bring our nation together.
Great examples of Advertising expire us all to set a high standard for our customers messages and for our industry. The Agencies, Freelancers, Media Companies, Production Providers and People listed on this site bring that to life. Thank you for making Hampton Roads and Richmond home for that superior work.
Thanks also goes to 3 Waves Media for website design, coding and serving our AMERICAN ADVERTISING AWARDS site that chronicles this rich history.

2019 American Advertising Award Acknowledgements
2019 AMERICAN ADVERTISING AWARD (“Addy”) winners were notified of their winning entries earlier this year with some winning at the East Coast District 2-Region level as well. In November, we will acknowledge them and kick off the 2020 “AAAs” (“Addys”) with an event. Look in your email in October for your invitation.
While we hand delivered trophies and certificates to the 2019 winners, you’ll still want to see what these great organizations winning work and we will also PRE-REGISTER your 2020 CREATIVE ON-SITE at this event… to save you time and a few dollars. Check out some of pics of this year’s winners since you’re here now.
